sErving Those who serve
At True North Outreach Foundation (TNOF), we believe that veterans deserve more than gratitude, they deserve purpose. Our veteran services are built on the conviction that healing, growth, and direction come through purpose-driven mentorship, personal connection, and leadership development.
We hire and train fellow veterans to serve as Peer Mentors, equipped not only with resource knowledge but with lived experience and moral leadership. These mentors walk shoulder-to-shoulder with other veterans through life’s toughest transitions, offering support with emotional resilience, housing, employment, and the invisible wounds of service.
What sets us apart is our foundation of purpose-centered living, rooted in the “I Am” philosophy and the Four Pillars: Forgiveness, Gratitude, Love, and Faith. Our mentors lead by example, demonstrating what it means to heal, grow, and lead through service to others.
Through reintegration workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and speaking engagements, TNOF gives veterans the tools to rediscover meaning in civilian life and the opportunity to serve again, this time as leaders in their communities.

Supporting the People Who Shape the Future
True North Outreach Foundation partners with local schools to deliver motivational programming and leadership development that promotes resilience, emotional wellness, and positive identity formation in students and staff alike.
Our school-based initiatives are built on a simple belief: when teachers and support staff value themselves and lead with purpose, that mindset is transmitted to their students. Through professional development workshops, student assemblies, and small-group sessions, we equip educators and young people alike with the tools to strengthen self-worth, improve mental health, and build stronger, more connected school communities.
We support:
-
Teachers and Staff through leadership workshops that enhance school climate, morale, and communication.
-
Students through inspirational assemblies and small-group sessions focused on identity, resilience, and goal-setting.
-
At-risk youth through tailored programs designed to build emotional resilience, reduce stigma around mental health, and create safe spaces for connection.
All of our programs are grounded in personal growth principles, based on self-worth, self-respect, and self-control.
Together with educators, we’re shaping the next generation of leaders—one empowered student at a time.
