Board President/Founder
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Orion Jones has called Findlay, Ohio home for the past 10 years. A former collegiate head baseball coach, business professor, and operations executive, he brings a unique blend of leadership, lived experience, and spiritual grounding to his mission.
Driven by both personal transformation and academic research, Orion has dedicated his life to helping others rise. He created the “I Am” philosophy and the Four Pillars of Forgiveness, Gratitude, Love, and Faith to empower individuals to rediscover their self-worth and walk with purpose.
Holding a Master’s degree in Business and currently completing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Orion speaks truth with boldness, leads with humility, and lives by the belief that “the better one lives their life, the better life others around them have.”
AMBER BUENA

BSN, Founder of I Am Rooted Wellness
Amber is a dedicated BSN-registered nurse currently pursuing her Nurse Practitioner degree, with a passion for holistic wellness and mental health advocacy. Having walked her own journey with mental health, Amber leads with empathy, lived experience, and purpose.
As the founder of I Am Rooted Wellness, she combines clinical expertise with holistic practices to support healing in body, mind, and spirit. Amber is also a committed advocate for individuals with special needs, working to ensure inclusive, compassionate care for all.
Through her leadership and heart-driven approach, Amber embodies the mission of True North Outreach Foundation—to help others rediscover their worth, one life at a time.
Kaleb Brankamp
Board Member
Kaleb Brankamp is an attorney with Marathon Petroleum and a proud graduate of The Ohio State University (B.A.) and Capital University Law School (J.D.). He and his wife, Jill, reside in Findlay, Ohio, where they are raising their three children, ages 17, 15, and 13.
Kaleb is a strong advocate for men’s mental health and faith-based discipleship, believing deeply in the power of mentorship and community. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering at his parish, playing golf, and supporting his children in their various athletic pursuits.

Brandon has spent the past six years serving the Findlay community as a dedicated Realtor. With a people-first approach, he helps clients navigate one of life’s biggest decisions, buying or selling a home, with trust, clarity, and confidence. His ability to connect and build lasting relationships has made him a respected figure in the local real estate market.
Before entering real estate, Brandon spent over a decade in the recruiting industry, holding leadership roles in talent acquisition and business development for major organizations such as Cielo Talent, Prolink, and Theoria Medical. His experience spans healthcare, corporate recruitment, and strategic partnerships, always driven by a passion for matching people with opportunity.
Brandon’s commitment to uplifting others and building strong communities aligns perfectly with the mission of True North Outreach Foundation. As a board member, he brings both local insight and professional wisdom to support men on their journey to healing, growth, and purpose.

Larry Detering
Board Member
Larry Deitering is a seasoned CPA with over 35 years of accounting experience. He spent 26 years at Marathon Petroleum serving as an Accounting Manager before retiring and transitioning into his current role as Controller at Kalmbach Feeds. His career also includes six years in public accounting and a two-year tenure as Controller in the outpatient rehabilitation sector.
Beyond his professional life, Larry is an active member of the community. He plays in the worship band at Cedar Creek Church and has been involved for over a decade. He and his wife Marla are proud parents of four children, two still at home, with one attending BGSU and the other a junior at Findlay High School, and two adult children living in Louisville and Tallmadge. Larry is also a proud grandfather to two beautiful granddaughters, Brynnlee and CJ.
Larry brings wisdom, financial expertise, and a heart for service to the board of True North Outreach Foundation.
